These Terms & Conditions govern admission to Gate43 events and the purchase and use of tickets, table reservations and related services of Gate43. They are governed by Swiss law. By completing an online purchase, the customer confirms that the applicable terms were available for review and acceptance before placing the order.

Admission

Unless otherwise stated for an event, admission is restricted to guests aged 18 or over. A valid official photo ID may be required. Ticket holders must comply with applicable law, safety requirements and Gate43 house rules. Gate43 may refuse admission or require a guest to leave for legitimate safety, capacity, intoxication, threatening/inappropriate conduct, house-rule or operational reasons, subject to applicable law.

Tickets

Tickets are valid only for the event, date and category stated and, unless otherwise indicated, permit one admission. Tickets and QR codes may not be duplicated, manipulated or fraudulently reproduced. If the same ticket/QR code is presented more than once, only the first valid successful scan may be accepted. Unauthorised commercial resale, particularly above the original ticket price, is not permitted within the contractual relationship with Gate43 to the extent legally permissible.

Orders and Contract Conclusion

Before submitting an online order, the customer can review the essential order information and correct input errors. By activating the clearly designated final order/payment button, the customer submits a binding order. An electronic order or booking confirmation is sent after receipt of the order.

Prices and Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes. The total amount is shown before the order is submitted. Payments may be processed by an external payment provider. A booking is treated as successfully paid only after the relevant payment has been successfully processed and confirmed.

Ticket Cancellations and Refunds

Swiss law generally provides no general statutory right of withdrawal for ordinary online purchases merely because the customer changes their mind. Unless expressly stated otherwise for an event, there is therefore no entitlement to a ticket refund solely because personal plans change. Any cancellation, refund, credit or transfer is subject to the applicable event terms and mandatory Swiss law.

Table Reservations

A table reservation is confirmed only after the required deposit/payment has been successfully made. Unless stated otherwise for the specific booking, the deposit is 50% of the displayed table price. A generated payment link is generally valid for 30 minutes; if payment is not completed, the provisional reservation may expire and the table may be released. The deposit is credited toward the final table consumption or remaining table amount unless stated otherwise.

For cancellations more than 48 hours before the event, Gate43 may, depending on the reservation, grant a refund or Gate43 credit, subject to mandatory law. For cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows, the table deposit is non-refundable to the extent legally permissible. A table reservation does not itself include event admission unless explicitly stated; otherwise every guest needs a valid individual event ticket. Maximum table capacity must not be exceeded. Changes depend on availability and Gate43 confirmation. If the group has not arrived within 60 minutes of the agreed reservation time and Gate43 has not been informed of the delay, Gate43 may release the table.

Event Changes and Cancellation

Artists, line-ups, programme, opening times and programme details may change where objectively necessary. If an event is postponed, cancelled or materially changed, Gate43 will communicate the applicable ticket/booking options according to the circumstances and mandatory law.

Photo and Video

Photo and video recordings may be made for documentation, security, communications and promotional purposes. Identifiable recordings are handled under applicable law and consent will be obtained where legally required.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for personal belongings. To the extent permitted by law, Gate43 is not liable for loss, theft or damage unless liability cannot legally be excluded.

Conduct and Safety

Guests must follow reasonable instructions from Gate43 and security staff and comply with house, safety and emergency rules. Violence, threats, harassment, weapons, illegal substances or other dangerous conduct may result in refusal of admission or removal and, where appropriate, notification of authorities.

Liability

Gate43's liability is governed by applicable Swiss law. Nothing excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law. Subject to mandatory statutory provisions, the competent courts at the registered seat of Gate43 have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer jurisdictions remain unaffected.
